The bay CALA VADELLA is well protected in the Southwest of the island IBIZA, which is the third biggest island of the Balearic Islands. The beach has a length of approximately 280 meters and is broadly based between 50 and 80 meters. The beautiful beach is bright and fine-grained. For children it is easy to bathe and swim, because of the even shore area.

If you do not like sunbathing the whole day, there is a wide gastronomical offer directly at the beach. A small supermarket and some other nice little shops offer you the possibility to buy some souvenirs and also some beautiful beach wear. For a joy of movement, there are also possibilities for paddle boating-renting, as well as a diving school, that offer some variety. For those of you who like to explore the island a bit more you can rent a bicycle or a car, directly at the beach.

Politically and regionally, CALA VADELLA belongs to the biggest community of IBIZA (= Sant Josep de sa Talaia). The inland village SANT JOSEP finds itself only 8 km from the bay. To reach the next bigger towns like SANT ANTONI DE PORTMANY and Ibiza-downtown (EIVISSA), you only need about 15 – 25 minutes by car.

As the bay CALA VADELLA is positioned in the Southwest, you can experience wonderful sunsets for many weeks and months during the year. After you enjoyed the turquoise ocean, you can experience a fantastic SUN DOWNER in summer. Touching heart and soul, the rich colored evening sky offers unique opportunities to take pictures.
